Halloween and Loralye's Dedication

Carving Pumpkins.
I finally admitted to Jason that i don't like carving pumpkins. I don't like the mess. I am not patient enough to trace the image, and then cut it out. I feel as if I almost loose 3 fingers in the process.
I also told him that doesn't mean that I will stop organizing this family fun!!

Lincoln's Elmo pumpkin

Loralye as a Pumpkin

Daddy and his dog. Lincoln loved trick or treating. We told him that he had to keep his costume on if he wanted candy. The days following halloween he wanted to put his costume back on so he could eat his candy. We told him we would let him have candy without the costume.

Trick or Treat!!

Pumpkin listed by carvers from left to right.
Jason, Jason with Lincon, Jason with Holli. ( I guess I can see why he doesn't like carving all the pumpkins!)

Karen and Justin can out for Loralye's baby dedication

The pastor complimented Loralye on how well put together she was. Yes mission accomplished.

Fall catch up

This blog post is going to move quickly, I hope you can keep up. Hold on I am about to push rewind......It helps if you start at from the bottom.

READ THIS LAST:
Our life feels like it moves in fast forward sometimes, but we are making the most of every adventure.
Thats all for now....we need to go carve some pumpkins, and get some sleep, and go to work, and go to school, and go to practicum, and pack lunches, and finish the dishes, and pump milk, and... well you get the idea!

Fall is here, and we are still smiling

We search for the perfect pumpkins
Lincoln would rather ride in the wagon

V is for visitors

Time has flown by. Holli is 27...oh my, and Loralye will be 1 month old tomorrow. We have been so blessed to have had so much help with our growing family. Here are some of our favorite moments.

Grandma Maryellen arrived and had quite the welcoming party.

Loralye's first trip to the zoo. I believe she was 10 days old.

The sea lions were a little scary for Lincoln. He had a death grip on Grandma.

A couple days later Papa arrived and we took him to the "beach". It was about 65 degrees, but we made the best of it.

Lincoln wanted to take off his swim trunks, luckily Papa convinced him otherwise. The nude beach was a couple miles up (for real , you all remember we live in Portland...right)

Loralye stayed in her carseat... this way we wouldn't drop another one of our children in the sand at the beach before they were 1 month old.
See having a second child isn't so bad because you know what NOT to do.

The Vogets arrived!!

Liconln and Kyle became best buds right away. Lincoln sure loves all of his Uncles!

Kyle holding Lincoln up to see our neighbors...chickens and ducks.

The Vogets were blown away with how big the sunflowers were.

Loralye giving kyle some tips on how to properly care for a newborn... Just love me and hold me close!

Aunt Jayla after Loralye's bath. Both Jayla and Kyle were naturals with the kids. They are going to be great parents.

I know I say this a lot, but look how cute my daughter is!!!

Multnomah Falls

The MEN before the 1.5 mile hike to the top of this waterfall.

Family photo OP.

Lincoln and Jason scaling the wall of a cave on the way up.

SPRINKLERS!!

Quick photo shout out to miss mae
Jayla and I with our babies. A moment that we dreamed of and planned our whole life, that became a reality due to Gods perfect planning.

See naturals...

Thanks again, Vogets. You made the week so fun and relaxing.

Margarita Monday 27th Birthday Celebration

Jason threw me the best birthday party, not because of our great friends that were there, or the fact that I was able to celebrate with my wonderful family complete with my two beautiful kids, but because the theme was margaritas!!
(please know I do not value tequila over my kids, I just really like a good margarita)

After I blew out the candles with Lincoln he stuck his face in the cake and took a bite. It does make sense, the only other time he had a cake in front of him that is how he ate it.

FLASHBACK MOMENT

(TEAR..i can't believe that was only a year ago)
