Lincoln's New Wranglers

This is a shirt Uncle Justin gave Lincoln - But all his Uncles are jockeying for "best looking and most intelligent." Pictures from our trip home are still to come but I wanted to get a quick update up while I had a minute to breathe!

Lincoln's New Adventures

Grandma Sue sent this to Lincoln as a souvenir from Japan, perfect fit!

Lincoln's new ride.

Lincoln's 1st time in the pool. He had a blast.

Motor boat

Catch me daddy.

We had our first day of summer sun followed by another day of rain. We took advantage of the weather and spent the day at our friend Michelle's house. 5 hrs in the pool, eating pizza, and playing volleyball - it was a necessity after our dreary winter weather. We cannot wait to go swimming again and we are so thankful to our wonderful friends!

Jeanette and Scott to PDX

Scott and Jeanette (Jason's college roommates) made a trip out to PDX over the Memorial Day weekend. It rained the majority of the trip but Scott and Jeanette promised that they enjoyed the dreary weather. The one sunny photo of Scott and Jeannette is outside Salty's on the Columbia. The rest of the photos are from our trip to Pacific City. We ate lunch at the Pelican Pub and Brewery. As you can see Lincoln prefers a good IPA with his teething biscuit. Scott and Jeanette tested the frigid waters but we kept Lincoln further back for his own safety. The only casualty was his sandy toes.

Karen and Justin's Visit to Portland

The Photographer: The lovely Karen Scheffe...amazing photos that capstoned an amazing weekend with our brother Justin. Karen is Justin's girlfriend and we were grateful for their generosity in coming to visit the Pacific Northwest. This was our trip to Domaine Drouhin in the Dundee Hills. We went to meet some of my classmates from UCCS (Mary and Allison).

Lincoln with his Uncle Justin. They share their blue eyes and tendency to be grumpy at nap time. Luckily today they were well rested and ready to enjoy the scenery.
Mama had to work today and could not enjoy the vineyard. She had the day off yesterday and we got an exclusive VIP tour of the Nike Corporate Headquarters (thanks to Karen's killer networking).
Our 9 mos photos courtesy of Karen. Lincoln weighed 20 lbs at his 9 mos checkup. He is now only in the 59th percentile for weight. But don't you fret - he is in the 90th percentile for head circumference.
This is my favorite photo - ENJOY

Linker Stinker

Lincoln in his sun hat!

Jason's view from his front porch lookin in!

Lincoln got to get a basketball set from the grocery store becasue he was so good. He has been working on his free throw ever since.

This one is for Jayla. This is the cheesecake I made on Easter!!! I was really proud because there were no cracks!

The boys ready for Church!

Lincoln doesn't love the fedora, but he sure looks cute when he matches his Daddy.

Ps the picture in the background is Lincoln's 6th Month picture we got framed.

Lincoln at his first birthday party. He was the only boy and he didn't want to share the blanket with the other baby girls.

This is his friend Jane, she is 6 months old and sat for the first time right there next to Lincoln!

Jerad and Shannon came out!! Here they are at the Tillamook Cheese factory.

Lincoln and Daddy!

Mom and Lincoln with the Tillamook Cow, MOO! Are you kidding me, when did my baby boy turn into a toddler?!

Lincoln tried to break Jerad and Shannon in and cried in the car for the first 45 minutes of the trip. Bubbles started coming out of his nose...so I took a picture of it!

Thanks for my new outfit Uncle Jerad and Shannon!

My Papa Todd and Grandma Mare sent me this tractor set, I liked the box best!!

Ice cream with my Uncle!

Driving up the 101

Today we explored a new park in Portland, loved it. It reminded us of home. It was called Forest Park and is in North West.

The jeep Stroller destroyed the trail. Here are daddy and Lincoln propin' up the front tire.

Now that I have just updated you all on the last 5 weeks of our life, some clarifications are in order.
1) Jason you are a paranoid schizophrenic - as the terms were previously laid out you write and I post pictures.
2) The blog updates have been laking as Lincoln is too cute to take a break from and post pictures

Lincoln 8.5

I decided to make all of our followers have brief hope in a new picture update for Lincoln, and then sabotage that hope by only posting a written update. BUT do not fret every time I write something on here Holli hurries to one up me with photos. So, interesting updates...
1. Lincoln just did his first sign language sign (squeeze hand for milk). He uses it whenever
he wants anything - and now he always wants what he cannot have
2. Lincoln said DADA - it's pretty much all he says and it is not necessarily directed at me

To sum up Lincoln learned two new tricks and tries to apply them universally to all things in his little world. Also new is my obsession with Ancestry.com - Turns out Lincoln has a 4xgreat uncle name Lincoln Frazier. He also has a 8x great aunt named Safronica - P.S. Holli I have a name for our first daughter!

We have had many visitors and many more to come. Grandpa Scott, Grandma Sue, Uncle Jerad, and Aunt Shannon all came in April. In May we will see Uncle Justin, Karen, Jill, Scott Brewer, and Jeannette. Grandma Mare is coming in June - and we will be home at the end of July. Looks like we are going to have a busy, fun-filled summer. Love and miss you all ~ Jason

Seven Month Serenity

Lincoln's Baby Dedication

This was really special for our family. Cheree and Kevin came down from Seattle for the service!!We were so grateful that they made the trip. Please note how cute Lincoln looks...more appropriately LINK (get it because he is also dressed as a golfer).

Jason introduced our family. Lincoln was very vocal the whole service. When we got home Jason and I sat down with Lincoln and explained that it is not polite to talk and blow bubbles during prayer.

Saturday at the Park

Priceless...

Walking to the swings. It was 70 degrees and gorgeous. This is Memorial Park in Wilsonville. It was so fun. There was a dog park, which Oliver thoroughly enjoyed, baseball fields, a skate park and Lincoln's favorite...SWINGS!

Here we go....

Wee. Who doesn't like a little swing in their pits!

Uh Mom, I just swang all by myself, please stop babying me.

Green Beans and a Bath

Uhhh, is there something on my face?

Bath time, post green beans. Lincoln sits up in the bath all by himself. This is his favorite night time activity. He is definitely a water worm.

Hey, who is that good lookin' guy!
