Seattle Pictures

Here is the view from Kevin's Apartment. I was really excited to get to see the Space Needle as this was my first trip to Seattle. We had just driven by ' Seattle Grace Hospital'. Quick shout out to McDreamy and McSteamy!

The family at Pike Market. So many cool things in there. The best part was, it was indoor so we could carry Lincoln without getting him wet. I am sure that was much appriciated by the patrons purchasing their figureings made from the sout of Mt. St Helen's, because Lincoln was pretty vocal about not wanting to be in his stroller .

Here we are at the 1st Starbucks ever!!! One of the places I have always wanted to go. Investment Banker now... CEO of Starbucks later!

Lincoln getting cosy with Kevin and Aunt Cheree. Kevin does not recive a title yet, but who knows where our friendship will take us. Please note how adorable my son is in his cowboy shirt!

All in all we loved Seattle. I know in Jason's earlier post he said that we may move there in the future, but to all you grandparents out there please remember his is sufficently sleep deprived and under a lot of stress becoming a Doctor!! Repeat after me " They will bring my grand baby back to Colorado... they will bring my grand baby back to Colorado..."

Thank you all for reading our blog, although Staci might be the only reader.

Zoo Trip with Grammy Sue

This is Lincoln's 1st trip to the Portland Zoo. As you can see he throughly enjoyed himself. He slept the whole time! But as a good mom I needed to get pictures of him with the animals. His favorite was the polar bear.

Our Trip To Seattle

Yesterday we journeyed north to visit our friends Cheree and Kevin in Seattle. I am uncertain if they will invite us back because Lincoln was not having it. He hates his car seat and lets you know. Sometimes after he screams for a few minutes it starts to sound like he is saying "i hate you...I hate you...I hate you!!!!" Which, I am sure in 13 years it may sound even more like this. Regardless we saw Pike market and the first Starbucks. We also enjoyed clam chowder regardless of Lincoln's shrieks in the restaurant. Luckily the lady with two little boys next to us said she loves the sound of babies crying. I feel she must be the minority. I think it is harder for the parent than those who are around us, and two minutes of crying often feels like like three hours. And I know it could be worse so I better watch myself before I jinx myself! We loved seeing our friends and are so thankful for living close to them. Seattle is a beautiful city, and I think we might move there next if we play our cards right, plus it is an ideal location for Holli - who desires to become the CEO of starbucks. Love and miss you all ~

October Update

Hello, I have stolen this project from my wife because she has had it for two months and has not written a single word. I am transferring her job to picture poster, and I will be the writer. We have been settling in nicely to Oregon besides minor mishaps like falling on the beach while holding lincoln (Jason), or falling down the stairs and fracturing our spines while holding lincoln (Holli). Holli found a new job will Chase as an investment banker and school has been going well for me. We have met a lot of great people while being out in Oregon and many people have helped us by making us dinner while we have been settling in. We also found a wonderful nanny for lincoln so we feel as good as possible with Holli's return to work. We miss everyone in Colorado and cannot wait to return home. Both sets of parents have made their way out here and are coming again before the first of the year. We are in the middle of wine country which should be an incentive to the rest of you to get your wino butts (I have to watch my language now that I am a father) out here!!!
